Abstract

Krishan Chandar is renowned short story fictional writer. He has woven his stories from the society and depicted the bitter realities in impressive style. In colonial era, Krishan observed its harsh impacts on layman’s life with the help of satitical realism and social consciousness, he becomes the writer of departion unaccomplished dreams and poverty of common masses due to imperialism and capitalisim. Having core affinity to progressive movement he wrote masterpiece with his artist mind. Mostly his characters are from bottom of society who are being crushed under the heavy boots of colonisess and imperialists.
