The discussion of Hamza in the Urdu imla issue begins with his existence. Some
people think of it as a symbol, while others see it as both a symbol and a
letter.Because in Urdu literature, sign and letter are used interchangeably. In
alphabetical order, it is written before "yaa" But it is not described in a separate
section. Rashid Hasan Khan has described a long crop of Hamza in his book "Urdu
Amla."In addition, experts such as Gopichand Narang, Shan-ul-Haq Haqee and Dr.
Aftab Ahmed Saqib have described this issue in detail in their articles and works. The
following article attempts to summarize the discussions of these experts.
