Abstract

Jamila Hashmi is a prominent Novelist of Urdu literature. She gained a lot of popularity in Novel writing. She has left such imprints of uniqueness in Novel writing that can never be forgotten in Urdu literary circles. She has rich illustrations of Sikh culture in the Novelettes under comment. Religious orientation of Sikh, Traditions clothing or Food styles and values, Beliefs and opinions etc have been brought before the readers in the excellent styles. Being a creative artist, she has given full awareness of civilization, culture and way of life of the Sikh family. Like the rest of her Novels these two Novelettes are also of special important due to their diction, scenography, characterization, plot and basic approach.
