Abstract

Muhammad Iqbal, also known as Allama Iqbal, is the National Poet of Pakistan.  He is widely known as one of the most important figures in Urdu and Persian literature, having written numerous volumes of poetry in both languages. Allama Iqbal is  undoubtedly one of the greatest poets, philosophers and seers of humanity of all times. He took a prominent part in the politics of the country and in the intellectual and cultural reconstruction of the Islamic world. His contribution to the literature and thought of the world will live for ever. He emerged as a philosopher and thinker and his thought and wisdom awakened the Muslims from their dream of negligence. Prof. Munir Ahmad Yazdani in his book "Shawar Iqbal" has understood the same thought of Allama Iqbal. In this article we will disscuss Muneer Ahmed Yazdani as Iqbal Scholar in context of ‘‘Shaoor.e.Iqbal’’.
