qudrat Ullah Shahab and Habib Jalib are two famous Urdu writers. They have their autobiographies namely “Shahab nama” and “Jalib Beeti”. In both autobiographies, the political and social circumstances and events has been discussed. The positive and negative aspects regarding political situation has also been focused. The topic of this research is the comparative studies of political and social aspects in autobiographies of “Shahab nama” by Qudrat Ullah Shahab and “Jalib Beeti” by Habib Jalib.
