Abstract

General issues concerning women have always been the thematic focus of women writers over the ages. Colonial period changed the social and political system which was reflected by the writers in their writings. In this perspective women writers showed feminism and highlighted the issue of women’s identity, alienation, awareness, social status and individual struggle for freedom. In monthly ‘Adab –e-Latif’’about 20 female short story writers emerged including Shakila  Akhtar, Mrs. Abdul Qadir,Hijab Imtiaz,Hajra Masror,Khadeejs Mastor,Asmat Chigtai,Rasheed Jahan,Qurat-ul-ain Haider etc. In this article, these women short story writers’ writings would be analyzed in research based Perspective.
